The Red Stick International Animation Festival will offer a variety of family-friendly activities for kids of all ages.
Introducing FANDEMONIUM!
In 2010, Red Stick will host FANDEMONIUM!, a complete comic book, science fiction and fandom CON event that merges the worlds of animation, art, video games, movies, and more! Come hang out in the merchant's room, participate in Fandemonium speaker panels and events, and experience the fun of Red Stick in a new and exciting way. Fandemonium tickets are $25 per person and include festival Red Pass privileges along with all Fandemonium events.
2010 VIP Dinner and Awards Presentation
The Red Stick International Animation Festival offers tickets to its 2010 VIP Dinner and Awards Presentation Friday, Nov. 12. This event is an opportunity to meet and mingle with the animators, filmmakers, producers, and other studio representatives who will speak at the sixth annual Red Stick International Animation Festival. At the dinner, the festival will present its third annual Red Stick Lifetime Career Achievement Award to an animator with a career of outstanding artistic inspiration, and will present the second international Sci-An Award for Excellence in Scientific Animation. This dinner is also a chance to provide fundraising support, as all proceeds directly benefit the festival. Guests can purchase individual tickets at $120 each, or can purchase a table (seats eight.) Premium tables, those closest to the stage and speakers, are $1,000, and other tables are available for $800. Dress is formal (suits for men; cocktail dresses for women).
Cartoon-a-Palooza
Clowns, spacewalks and cartoon images will be scattered across the lawn of the Old State Capitol for Cartoon-a-Palooza, an annual highlight of the Red Stick International Animation Festival. Children are invited to have their Saturday morning fun downtown on November 13, watching cartoons in their pajamas while enjoying a complimentary breakfast. Outside, clowns will entertain the children and paint faces, while spacewalks designed to look like classic childhood cartoons will be available for jumping, bouncing and other fun.
Princess Ball
Princesses (or princes) of all ages are invited to join us at the Old State Capitol in downtown Baton Rouge on Sunday, November 7, for a fairytale afternoon of glittering magic and whimsy. In honor of Fandemonium, Red Stick's new Con event, the 2010 Princess Ball theme is "Storybook Princesses from Around the World … and Beyond." Guests are invited to attend dressed as princesses from stories, games, and cultures of their choosing, from this planet or others. Tickets for the 2010 Princess Ball will go on sale through this Web site in September 2010 for $20 per person. Tickets are non-refundable, and will be available until capacity is reached.

Red Stick features free, fun activities for families each year.
